Auto Expo, the largest automotive show in India was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 7th -11th January amidst much gusto and excitement that usually surrounds the festival. The event had Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Ranbeer kapoor and several others backing it in a full sway. The task of picking best cars from among the plethora of wonderful machines on display is quite demanding. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:
Maruti's Ertaga was unveiled on 6th of January and with this Maruti also launched its first multi -purpose vehicle. Some of the significant features of the vehicle will be:

  • 1.4 litre 1372cc K series (probably K14) engine.
  • The car is expected to give mileage of 16.02 km per litre whereas 1.3L DDiS engine of the car will deliver 20.7 Kmpl.

  • The car will be available in five models: LXi, VXi, ZXi, LDi, VDi and ZDi.
  • It can cost anywhere from 600000-900000 rupees.
Chevrolet Sail
  • The car is expected to deliver a power of 82bhp and have the feature of five speed manual transmission.
  • The car has two engine options of 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel.
  • The car is making news for being equipped with some great entertainment accessories like dynamic audio system.
  • You may have to shell out anywhere between 550000-700000 rupees, to acquire this beauty.
Nissan Evalia
  • The car will have a turbo diesel engine of 1.5L.
  • The price of the car will be 700000 rupees.
  • The seven seater having five manual gears, is expected to come in the market in the months of June or July.
Hyundai Hexa Space
  • The car will be running on 1.2 litre turbocharged engine with six speed automatic transmission.
  • The MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) will have eight seats which are hexagonally shaped.
  • The car will have wheels measuring 19- inches.
Renault Duster
  • The Renault Duster given its toughness seems to be designed with an aim to travel smoothly on all roads.
  • The car is available with two engines: 1.6 16V 105 petrol engine or a dCi 85 diesel engine. One can choose as per his preference.
  • The expected price of the car is 900000 rupees.
Ford Eco Sport
  • One of the most talked of feature of the car is its 1.0 litre 3 cylinder ecoboost petrol engine generating 120 PS power.
  • The car is expected to give mileage of at least 20kmpl.
  • The expected price of the car is between 9 -12lakhs.
XA Alpha
  • The car has k-Series diesel engine.
  • The car can be priced anywhere between 8-10 lakhs.

Tata Pixel
  • Nano like Pixel attracted a lot of people in the auto expo.
  • The car is being marketed as �the most packaged efficient four seater in the world.�
  • The car is expected to provide mileage of 3.4 litres per 100 kms.
  • The car is expected to cost around 2.5 lakhs.
Skoda RS 2000
  • This new version of Skoda Fabia will be without a top.
  • The car will have 2.0-litre twin turbocharged four-cylinder engine giving mileage of over 200h/p.
  • The car will have low slung windows for a better view.
Audi Q3
  • The car has a 6.0-litre TDi engine giving a mileage of 500 hp.
  • The expected cost of the car is around 26 lakhs.
  • The SUV has a lot of space and is available in four models.
  • The car has 16-inch all alloy wheels fitted with 215/65 tires.
