The Indian automobile industry is the 2nd largest in the world. The craze for biking just seems to rise as the days go by. The frenzy for sporty and powerful bikes among the youth has forced major two wheeler automobile giants to enter the Indian subcontinent.

   
The new bikes scheduled to be launched in 2010 are going to be more technically advanced and fuel efficient. Previously the Indian two wheeler market was more focused on 100 cc to 125 cc bikes but now the trend is changing. With the introduction of bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar the Indian two wheeler market witnessed a noticeable change in the preference of Indian bike lovers. Now the preference is more for heavy sporty and fuel economic bikes. Even the US based Harley Davidson could not resist itself from entering into the Indian subcontinent. Indian automobile giants like Bajaj, Yamaha and Hero Honda are coming out with a whole series of new launches this year.
