In line with the market trends and demand for bikes which offer speed, power, fun and a great look, TVS has launched its Apache series in 160cc and 180cc segment. TVS had initially launched the 160cc model, but sensing the tremendous response to the Apache series, the company decided to launch fuel efficient and more powerful bike with 180cc engine.
TVS Apache Features
TVS introduced some advanced third generation technologies to make it an instant hit with Indian youth. So, rear disc brake and Electronic Fuel Injection technology were used to entice the youngsters. TVS offered both electric and kick start options in their Apache series.
- TVS Apache comes with three major variants, which differ in advanced features. The top model is equipped with a powerful 180cc engine, whereas the other two lower models come with 160cc engines.
- All the variants of Apache have a single cylinder, four stroke and five transmission gearbox.
- The engines of these base models deliver around 15Bhp of power, whereas the top model delivers 17Bhp of power resulting in excellent pick up.
