Auto Expo 2012

The Auto Expo 2012 will be held at Pragati Maidan from January 7th to 11th. This forthcoming expo, like previous ones will showcase latest technological products, components, vehicles and acts as a launch pad for new and future vehicles, besides being a platform for participants for developing leads in the form of one on one interactions and business enquiries. The Auto Expo 2012 will also have a special emphasis on technological innovations in the areas of safety, environment and fuel efficiency. 2012 may see two venues for the auto expo as the whole of Pragati Maidan has been booked and there are still more interested participants. Vishnu Mathur who is the head of India’s auto industry body said that they were considering a second venue as over the years this auto expo has become the prime objective of most auto manufacturers in India. This space crunch caused many big auto manufacturers like Ford to miss out on the 2010 expo and it has been predicted that this space crunch is going to get worse, since there are likely to be more participants and visitors. Hence the option of a second venue for the Auto Expo comes across as a wise business decision.
